You don’t have to eat, dress, or act a certain way to be “spiritual.”

You don’t have to know everything about meditation to experience a meditative mind.

You don’t have to do handstands or arm balances to experience the transformational mind/body effects of yoga.

You don’t have to take hundreds of pictures of yourself in yoga poses to be considered a yogi.

You don’t have to go to big yoga festivals to find enlightenment — especially if you’re an internal seeker.

You don’t need a guru to tell you how to connect with Source energy.

You don’t need to collect trainings, certificates, or approval to channel the magic that flows freely through you.

Teachers and teachings are wonderful tools on the path, but you get to decide whether they resonate with you.

No one can tell you or dictate whether your energy is pure or worthy. Your energy is your energy... and it’s beautiful.

No matter where you are on the journey, you are in the right place for your unique path.

No one owns or has the right to manage or suppress any part or practice of the spiritual path. Any attempts to shame people into boxes, rules, or limitations are tools of the Matrix to separate you from your own divinity.

Remember, rules are a man-made construct.

If you want to experience something divine, enlightening, and beautifully transcendent, start by connecting with YOU, exactly as you are, without the stories, masks, expectations, rules, or programming. You are already a beautiful and divine being in its purest form, and however you choose to express your divinity is perfect.

As I write this, Mars is in the last degree of Libra, getting ready to ingress into Scorpio where it will be until early January. Now, I love Libra, but Mars has been in its detriment here. Libra is all about the other, and the warrior planet doesn’t always know how to play nice in Libra without sacrificing self-care. The energy becomes unfocused and quickly burns out.

Scorpio, however, has no problem focusing on the self. And Mars is at home here: determined, passionate, intense, and not willing to unnecessarily compromise. This transit will help you see all of the obstacles that have been standing in the way of your personal power and self-worth.

Some things simply aren’t worth your time and energy. And sometimes the greatest act of self-love is knowing when something isn’t serving you and letting it go. Mars in Scorpio gives you the energy to walk away. And by doing so, you can transform unaligned circumstances into aligned embodiment.

Look deep into the energetic eyes of any karmic entanglement keeping you in the dark, and release your responsibility to keep this weight in your life.

The mind likes to invent all kinds of problems and obstacles that keep us repeating the same addictive thought loops. Are your thoughts keeping you paralyzed in fear or angst? Have you allowed the mind to distract you from the truly important work? Are you letting negative thoughts hold you back from change or growth? Do you keep dwelling on the same issue incessantly until it’s difficult to think of anything else?

Sit and watch the mind for a moment. Where do these thoughts originate? What are the physical and emotional responses they generate? What are they asking you to witness? What are they allowing you to avoid? Follow the trail and see where it leads. The destination may surprise you.

Thoughts may be just thoughts, but they still ask to be witnessed. Burying them, distracting yourself, or allowing them to dissipate in the moment might feel like the right solution, but the energy doesn’t simply go away. It can eventually manifest into another form of energy such as an emotion or physical symptom. Or the thoughts will get louder until they feel seen.

So if something is distracting you or weighing heavily on the mind, watch it instead of trying to push through. Witness with love and compassion the ways in which your mind is trying to keep you safe. And if you find that a thought pattern isn’t serving you, see it, feel it, and say: Thank you for coming into my awareness, but I am no longer in alignment with this energy. I release you into the light to be transmuted for my highest good and for the highest good of all.

And remember, you are more powerful than the mind. ❤️

The ego wants it all.
Validation.
Approval.
Sacrifice.
Suffering as proof of worthiness.
But the heart knows,
Love doesn’t ask for these things.
Underneath it all,
This human suit we wear,
The choices we make,

But some of us can never be the one thing.
Choices and opportunities are ever present.
Energy is in constant flow.
Soul connections around every corner.
Sometimes dharma is a gift, not a line.
Some of us are here to plant many seeds,
To be the air and carry them in multiple directions.
To expand,
Create possibilities,
New ideas,
And light the flame of inspiration.
Don’t worry if it feels like you’re always searching,
Because that might be how you serve.
You can wait...
Or you can walk away.
You don’t have to follow an ultimatum.
You can let go as easily as you daydream.
And change your mind at any point,
Before you become stuck.
Before you surrender your power.
Before you choose duty...
Over love.
But don’t wait for it.
BE it.
And let it flow.

Scorpio uncovers the true identity beneath the mask. It navigates the deepest and heaviest waters. This intensity certainly doesn’t make Scorpio season easy, but it is through this transformational power that we discover the truth.

We tend to associate change with heaviness. Either we aim to release the burdens we carry or we feel that transformation comes with burdens. But what if the burdens are simply a blindfold keeping us hidden in a false identity or sense of safety? By keeping our eyes closed to the truth of who we are, we create the heaviness that keeps us stuck. Change (death/rebirth) doesn’t have to mean drastic reconfiguration or sacrifice. All we need to do is release the false stories and open our eyes. Show our real face to the world.

I tend to make big decisions during Scorpio season, but not necessarily because of a redirect. This fixed, powerful, and highly psychic energy simply doesn’t leave space for complacency. We may not want to see the truth, but it’s there just the same. Staying blind to it only increases the intensity and heaviness.

The season starts off with a new moon in Scorpio on Sunday, opposite Uranus. This is a highly unpredictable and impulsive configuration that may just rip the blindfold right off. But it doesn’t need to if we choose to do the work ourselves. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little bit nervous about traveling on this day because of the shock nature of the transit, but I have faith in my decisions aligning with the highest good. And spending Scorpio season and Samhain in magical Britain is absolutely following the call of my heart. ❤️

Are you ready to explore your truth?

There are no rules to life. There are no structures or institutions more powerful than your own divinity. Only fear prevents us from believing that we can be happy and have everything we need. This fear is designed by the very systems prospering from our believed lack of worth. Don’t let them convince you that freedom leads to suffering. Freedom leads to awakening.

Call yourself out on your own beliefs. You don’t need to stay trapped in a routine that is killing your joy. You don’t need to appease the people that are causing you to suffer in doubt. You don’t need to follow man-made rules to connect to spirituality. You don’t need to feel shame by being yourself. You don’t need to align with anything that boxes you in or creates division.

You can create your own path and be successful. You can walk away from your conditioning and programmed belief systems. You can align with your gifts and authenticity and manifest everything you need. Step confidently into your worth and feel your own power. Create your own reality. Don’t worry about what the matrix is doing, or the next strategy of divide and shame. Align with love and join the great awakening. 🙌🏻

Let it go, the leaves whisper
as they transform and release
effortlessly into the ground.
Let it go, shout the voices from my past.
Let it go, begs my karmic path.

And there were times when I let go,
instead of speaking for my truth.
There were times letting go trapped
me in a cycle of complacency.
Rather than fight for what I wanted
or how I felt,
I let it go.
When I asserted boundaries and they
backfired, I surrendered.
I let go of my ego.
I let go of my voice.
I let go of my worth.

And now I know that harmony
doesn’t mean surrender.
It doesn’t mean settling, enduring.
It doesn’t compromise or accept
duty over love.
I know that wanting something happens
for a reason. To teach me
that I’m worthy enough to receive it.
And when doubt stands in the way,
tries to convince me that I’m better off,
or that I should give up,
I let doubt go.
