After every expansion, there is a contraction. There is an opportunity to pull back and integrate, to go within, to regulate and discipline your perceptions. After every contraction, there is an expansion. Expansion brings insight and change, new opportunities for growth, experiences that transform your perception of reality.
Fear may cause some of us to stay in the expansion and float above the responsibilities and disciplines that create the conditions for growth. Fear can also cause some of us to stay in the contraction and live within a defined framework, rather than face the unknown possibilities of existence.
The experience of life and LIVING is a surrender to the sacred tremor, the expansion AND the contraction, the heartbeat of creation. Everything begins and everything ends. It all follows the pulse that regulates everything from the perceived subtle to the great unknown — and the divine spark that fuels it all.
My greatest wish is to experience all of it, without fear or limitations, in the full experience of being a free and sovereign being. Existence is a reflection of the life force that is ours by divine right. Living freely is a reclamation of your divinity.
And may it be so.
Happiness doesn’t come from escaping day-to-day life; it comes from being fully present in the experience of it.
The path to embodiment and aliveness exists in the many sensory experiences available in every moment. With full presence and awareness, even the most subtle energetic sensation can be a journey into bliss.
Do me a favor and, if you can, step outside.
Notice and experience the four elements around you. The earth beneath your feet, the texture of the rock, soil, and leaves. The air kissing your skin alive and the breeze vibrating among pine needles. The fiery, warming heat of the sun, the way it lights up your senses. The glistening, melting snow and ice, the moisture of the breath at the back of your throat, the way water seeps into every small space.
And then close your eyes, relax the naval, abdomen and pelvic floor. Unclench and fully soften into the moment. Take 10 deep breaths into the lower abdomen. Be fully present for each breath and the way it softens and massages your organs. Try not to let your body tense up and breathe as deeply as you can. And then again, relax.
Open your eyes and reacquaint yourself to the sensory experiences around you. Soften your shoulders and take one last deep breath, sighing it out through the mouth.
Continue your day with the intention of experiencing elements of bliss in every moment.
A jolt of awareness awakens Shiva from his cosmic throne,
Surges of lightening, a glimpse of union
Arising from the temple Maya.
When the sensations fade, he seeks outwardly,
Grasping for any experience that brings him closer to his beloved.
A taste of nectar,
The forbidden fruit.
Shielded by the tapestries of human experience,
Until he remembers the light within.
The serpent Shakti awakens to the creative internal force,
Singing her song for her beloved to hear.
How long have I allowed myself to be seduced by the glimmer of Maya?
How long have I sought comfort in my own illusions,
By the light of Venus rising,
Waiting to be validated by a web of my creation?
As Shiva turns his expansive gaze within,
Shakti feels herself begin to uncoil.
Time’s wounds untangling from the web, often painful to witness.
She ascends, he descends.
And a new web begins to form,
Connecting the temple within to the universe without.
They dance, they retract.
They experience divinity, then find the familiar.
They know, yet they are blind.
They are love, yet can only desire what they know of the self,
An experience unfolding with every breath and act of devotion.
An experience that could take many incarnations across dimensions of time.
It began from one thread of creation, a spark, a flash,
And weaved into a complex and ecstatic dance of polarities.
The spark that was one, became two,
Only to become one again.
A journey of experience, involution to evolution,
Illusion to awakening,
Duality to union,
Divine inspiration.
The Tantric tradition acknowledges the experiences and pleasures of life as a path to enlightenment. The senses provide keys to the ultimate realization of pleasure and purpose. Being here, being present, and experiencing wonder open the deeper channels to ecstasy and bliss.
The body is a universe in itself, and the movement and vibration of our personal energetic currents determine how we show up and connect. With intention and understanding, the subtle becomes deeply profound and purposeful — showing up in our relationships, offerings, and through every interaction and encounter.
Every breath, every moment contains an ecstatic dance of beauty, pleasure, and transformation. The practice allows us to tap into this power of being. And once you’re there, you’ll never look back. 🧡🍁
