Yin yoga involves deep stretching on the floor with gentle poses typically held for 3-5 minutes. The muscular relaxation involved in a yin practice helps to target joints, fascia, and connective tissue; it is wonderful for circulation, flexibility, balance, and reducing stress. Yin yoga is a wonderful practice for both new and advanced practitioners, and modifications will be offered for all.
Additional Information: Please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket. Additional props such as pillows, blocks, or bolsters are helpful and optional.
